Treatment of Anejaculation

Some people don’t bother to take any specific treatment for anejaculation. However, if the couple faces problems conceiving a child due to male anejaculation, then they consider it a cause for concern. The treatment of anejaculation depends on the condition of the person. It includes giving counselling to the patient or sexual therapy. If diagnosed timely, it can be treated completely and give positive results.

The treatment options for anejaculation include:

  • If the dry orgasm condition arises due to hormonal balance, it can be treated with medications to reverse the side effects of other medications and treat such hormonal issues.
  • The psychological issues that contribute to the said condition can be managed with sexual counselling and anti-anxiety medications.
  • Patients who suffer anejaculation due to a spinal cord injury are given a specific device known as penile vibratory stimulation, which helps the male ejaculate.
  • If the process of penile vibratory stimulation doesn’t work, the patient is given electroejaculation therapy. It is the process of giving an artificial ejaculation to the patient.
  • The patient who is in the preparation stage of conceiving a child can also go for the treatment of retrieval of viable sperm which can be used for Assisted reproduction.
